Anita has been an absolute gem ever since I first contacted her to do the flowers for myself and my bridesmaids for my wedding back in February.
I knew exactly what I wanted, but also had no idea at the same time. Anita emailed to and fro with me for a while, sending ideas and suggestions on the shapes and colours, and eventually I came up with some really rough designs that she made into more than I could ever wish for.
I had so many comments about how amazing the bouquets were, and what's even better is that we all get to keep them forever - even my friend from England!
A few months after the wedding, my dog decided he would taste sample my bouquet, and unfortunately had an absolute field day on it. I sent it back to Anita, who not only repaired it to it's former glory, but also adjusted the back so I could hang it up on the wall. So now, it is safely hanging in my hallway and every time I walk past it I remember our special day.
So, thank you Anita, I really couldn't recommend Flaxation highly enough. Jo

Our guests were really impressed and so were our photographers and videographer!
Flax is not only a great way to showcase Kiwiana, it's also reusable - we've gifted a bouquet each to our mothers who can confidently display them on the mantel piece in their homes without having to stress about drying or pressing the flowers.
They were beautiful yet hardy and so practical on a hot summer's day while we were taking photos.
Even if we had to leave them on the ground for a little while in between shots.
We didn't have to worry about flowers wilting or ensuring that they got delivered just in time and kept in a cool place.

Oh my, what amazing artwork Anita creates! When we were in the initial stages of planning our wedding I was adamant that I didn’t want flowers. That was until we were introduced to Flaxation. Not only is every creation unique and totally customised to suit your colour scheme, the bouquets are super light and durable, and look absolutely stunning! The buttonhole flowers made for a beautiful and easy to transport keepsake for overseas family. And the table decorations were simple but stunning - and so charmingly New Zealand. I cannot say how glad I am that we went with Anita and her amazing flax flowers. Totally chuffed!

Anita is a pleasure to work with. Her enthusiasm is infectious. I think she was more enthusiastic about things than I was which was really helpful as she really encouraged an idea I had and made me feel at ease with decisions made. Anita was really patient with me as well as we went through the various colours to match the colours of other stuff I had already bought for my wedding fan bouquet. Which was helpful because I didn't actually have a colour theme for my wedding bouquet - until Anita came to the rescue!

Flaxation created my cake topper for my wedding cake and it was the talk of the wedding!! I have her ideas of what I liked and she gave me options and came up with a great concept to suit our theme. The best communication, very prompt and such a smooth service. Weddings are soo difficult to organise but Anita from Flaxation made that part soo easy. Nice packaging and fast delivery at such an affordable price... Would recommend Flaxation to anyone wanting something original and beautiful. Thanks again Anita. Jordon
My mother lives in New Zealand and bought my wedding bouquets and buttonholes as a gift. I live in England and had never heard of Flaxation before in my life and was intrigued and interested to see! Anita is such a lovely lady and made contact frequently to keep me up to date with the making of the flowers etc. When they arrived I could not believe the quality and how unusual they were!! What wonderful things I have to say about my wedding flowers! They were absolutely adored on my big day. It was such a beautiful surprise for our guests to see gorgeous flowers that weren't necessarily fresh ones. I love the fact that I can keep my gorgeous bouquet for many years to come. I had Flaxation flowers for my wedding a few weeks ago and they are AMAZING! I had no stop compliments on how beautiful they were. Anita is so incredibly talented and the best person ever to work with. Anita is amazing as a person and it shows in her work. I had the most amazing flowers made for me and took them to Fiji for our wedding, 25 months later they still look new and I love the fact I can keep them forever! And they sit amongst our photos. Can't recommend Flaxation enough.
I couldn't recommend Flaxation highly enough - we had Anita create the flowers for our wedding which was two years ago now and they still look amazing!! We had our bouquets for me and the girls, buttonholes for the boys and a beautiful cake topper for the cake and everything looked amazing, was delivered in plenty of time and is something that we can look at now and remind us of how wonderful the day was. We were extremely luck to have discovered the amazing team at Flaxation who created an outstanding cake topper for our wedding. We were after that "something different" and found it far beyond! Received so many comments on how beautiful it was, where it came from and how it was beautiful to have included hubbys Maori culture into our special day!
